WHAT A BEGINNER CAN DO: Math: • Aware of math concepts at his/her instructional level • Beginning to understand basic numbers and facts • Beginning to understand how to complete and turn in an assignment
WHAT A BEGINNER CAN DO: Social Studies: • Relies on hands on visual instruction to retain basic facts • Shows knowledge of concepts through demonstration, drawing, and participation • Completes projects with teacher or peer group help • Attends to discussions for a short period of time
