LCAC Overview • Purpose/Mission: High Speed, Over-the-Beach, Ship-to-Shore Amphibious Capability to Lift All Equipment Organic to the Ground Elements of a Marine Air/Ground Task Force • Capable of Operating from Current and Planned Well Deck Ships and Seabases • LCAC has Accessibility to More than 80% of the World’s Coastlines • Over the Horizon Assault from up to 50 miles Offshore • LCAC are Capable of Carrying a 60-Ton Payload at Speeds Over 50 Knots

Procurement Characteristics • FFP Contract • Work to be Performed at ACU 4 • Joint Expeditionary Base, Little Creek, VA • Unrestricted/Nationwide Competition • ABR/MSR Certification Not Required • Unclassified Work Scope • Contract Award for “Best Value” to Government
GFP/CFM • Government will Provide Selected GFP for: • Incorporation Items: • Minimum Buy and LLT (13+ Weeks) • GFP Incorporation Items and Associated Delivery Dates will be Specified in Each Craft’s Planning Memo (Part of the TDP) • Performance Items: • Select Special Test Equipment/Tooling • Contractor will be Responsible for Providing All Other Required: • Material/Equipment • Tooling/Test Equipment • Services, such as Marine Chemist and HAZMAT
ACU 4 Facilities • TFS with Capacity for Three Craft • Space for Laydown Area and Contractor Admin Trailer • Parking for Up to 25 Vehicles • SLEP Contractor Provides Services for Shelter (i.e., Electricity, LP Air) • No Telephone/Data Lines Available to Contractor Space
ACU 4 Services • Travel Lift for Moving Craft • Used by Navy Personnel Only • 48 Hour Advance Notice Required • Craft Crew will be Provided for Craft Trials • Runway Trials • Harbor Trials • INSURV • Fly-Over Block Installation • Two Shipsets: 55” Fly-Over Blocks • HAZMAT Materials • Handled by Contractor in Accordance with ACU 4 Guidelines
