National Statistical Office National Statistical Office National Statistical Office Methodology • A Stratified Two - Stage Sampling was adopted from the survey.- Provinces were constituted strata. There were altogether 76 Strata • The primary sampling units were blocks for municipal areas, villages. The total sample blocks/villages were 5,796 from 109,966 blocks/villages. • The secondary sampling were private households/ persons in the special households respectively. The sample selection of blocks/villages was performed by using samples of blocks and villages as same as LFS The period of survey also was held during 3 months for proposing data on provincial level.
