The Model Locally developed course: Hockey Skills 10 • 3 on ice days/2 off ice days • 1 teacher assigned to program • 2 on ice instructors • 1 goalie coach on ice • Various support personnel • Rich and varied curriculum • Families pay $200/month to PRHA
Enrolment • Centennial-1 class, midday • 27 students, grades 9-11 • 7 girls • 1 autistic student • 1 peer tutor • 2 out of catchment, + 1 previous homeschooler • Riverside-2 classes, morning • 49 students, grades 9-12 • 7 girls • 8 out of catchment, 5 from private or out of SD43

Successes • High standard of commitment and conduct • Multitude of hockey, hockey related and life experiences • Significant impact on the school successes and lives of a few previously marginalized or At Risk kids • Provided positive experiences for some designated students • Tremendous positive support from students and parents • Zero political issues related to program • Very low maintenance!
