PUBLIC - PRIVATE SECTOR COOPERATION With the railways being the prioritized transport policysince 2003, significant steps were taken towards thedevelopment of advanced railways industry with thecooperation of domestic and foreign private sector entities and in this scope; • Adapazarı High Speed Train Factory (EUROTEM) • Çankırı High Speed Turnout Factory (VADEMSAŞ) • Sivas Modern Concrete Sleeper Factory (SİTAŞ) were established
LOGISTICS CENTERS • Samsun, Denizli and İzmit Logistics Centers are opened • 1. step of Eskişehir and Kayseri Logistics Centers are completed • 2. step of Eskişehir and 1. step of Erzurum Logistics Center are beginning to work • Balıkesir Logistics Center is under construction, 2. step of Kayseri Logistics Center will be begin • Other logistics centers’ projects are continuing

VIKING TRAIN PROJECT The Black Sea is connecting with the Baltic Sea by the “Viking Train” The connection of the Viking Train will be able to be established to Mediterranean, Europe, Middle East and Central Asia via Turkey. It is targeted to connect Europe to Middle East and Cental Asia through TRACECA Corridor in the shortest way.
