Franchises • Franchise – legal agreement between a parent company and distributor to sell a product • Franchiser – parent company • Franchisee – distributor of the product or service • Examples – Budget Rent-a-Car, Denny’s, Goodyear, Howard Johnson, Orange Julius, Pizza Hut, Sbarro, Inc., TCBY, Wendy’s
