The Definition • Mechanical Engineer- Someone who uses the science of physics and other sciences to manufacture and create mechanical systems. • Mechanic- A person who repairs and maintains the mechanical systems that are created by the mechanical engineers.

Also science classes that include biology and chemistry. • College requirements are typically a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. • This degree takes most people 4 years to complete.
