This Installation Guide describes how to install the SWAT Controller required to operate the Blackbox. Scope
To access the latest software, go to: https://www.flinderssc.com/public/SWAT.html Installation > Step 1
Installation > Step 2 • Select the XNA Frameworkand save it to your local directory.
Installation > Note for Firefox users • If you are using Internet Explorer, please proceed to the next slide. • If you are using Firefox to download the XNA Framework, before running the file, open the folder where the file was saved and remove the “.txt” from the file extension. When warned about changing the file extension, select Yes.
Once the file has completed downloading, as an administrator, you may Run it from the popup, shown below on the website. Installation > Step 3 • Or, as an administrator, access it through the local directory, where you saved the file. Double click on the file and select Run once prompted.
The Setup Wizard will appear. Select Next to continue. Installation > Step 4
Accept the terms in the License Agreement by ticking the checkbox. Select Next to continue. Installation > Step 5
Select Install to continue. Installation > Step 6
The Setup Wizard will begin installing. If you are using Windows 7, you may have to click allow in User Account Control before the installation will start. Installation > Step 7
Once the Setup Wizard is complete, select Finish. Installation > Step 8
Go back to: https://www.flinderssc.com/public/SWAT.html Installation > Step 9
Installation > Step 10 • Select the PC Blackbox Installer Only v1.0.0.8 and save it to the same local directory as the XNA Framework.
Installation > Step 11 • Go to your local directory, where you have saved the two files. • Right click on the SWAT_Controller_Installer_1.0.0.8.zip and Extract to here.
Installation > Step 12 • As an administrator, double click on the setup.exe file and select Run once prompted.
Installation > Step 13 • The Setup Wizard will appear. • Select Next to continue.
Installation > Step 14 • Select Next to continue.
Installation > Step 15 • Select Next to continue.
Installation > Step 16 • The Setup Wizard will begin installing. • If you are using Windows 7, you may have to click allow in User Account Control before the installation will start.
Installation > Step 17 • Once the Setup Wizard is complete, select Close.
Installation > Step 18 • Connect the TP-LINKwireless range extender to a power source. • Disconnect the computer from all existing Ethernet and wireless networks.
Installation > Step 19 • If connecting via Ethernet, connect the wireless range extender to the computer using an Ethernet cable. • If connecting via Wi-Fi, join the wireless network ASYNCLABS. It is an unsecured network so it should not ask for a password.
Installation > Step 20 • When asked to set up the network click Connect to the network without setting it up.
Installation > Step 21 • Select Public Network as the network location, then click close.
Installation > Note • A yellow exclamation mark will remain over the network symbol in the taskbar, this is normal.
Installation > Completion • The SWAT Controller is now installed on your computer. • Please continue to Test and Diagnostics.pptx
