Expectations When the Teacher is Speaking • Do not interrupt/talk over the teacher when he is speaking, even if it is on task. • Do not talk to neighbors/others when the teacher is talking. • Raise your hand if you have a burning question that you want to be addressed. US Presidents • McKinley: does not want war forced into declaring war w/ Spain in 1898 • later assassinated in 1901. • Ted Roosevelt: encourages war, considers it “manly”, good for society. • Takes over as president in 1901.
