Juniors 9/23/14 (Breaking Down Walls Day 2) ** Correct and collect Franklin WS (with lined paper stapled to back) • Warm-up:a. read OR novel; b. study for weeks 1 and 2 make-up vocabulary test (Friday) • Correct Franklin WS (and collect it) • film HW: IRA #1 DUE: 10/2 (That is NEXT Thursday!) HW: OR and write down examples of your literary device

Literary Device notes/Quickwrites:archetype (Native American myths), figurative language (“Sinners”), aphorisms (“Ben Franklin”), persuasion (“Speech…”); b. Franklin summaries and QW (lined paper; from Thursday and Friday) (9/24) c. Franklin WS (from today) (collected 9/24) d. Chart and your question from start of chapter 1 2.
