New e-SPAF COI Language • Each Investigator must disclose any real, apparent or potential conflict of interest, including significant financial interests, for all research funded by a PHS funded entity, including NIH, HRSA and CDC. For PHS funded research, the term “Investigator” includes any person, regardless of title or position, who is responsible for the design, conduct or reporting of research or proposed for such funding, which may include collaborators and consultants. Click herefor Temple University policies and procedures on conflict of interest. • Research funds will not be released until all “Investigators” have disclosed significant financial interests through the “electronic disclosure system” and a determination has been made, which may include submission to the applicable Conflict of Interest Committee for review, determination and the creation of a management plan as required.
