Setting • Touch me not Cottage : The touch me not cottage is the home of the Fosters and they call it that because the fence and the house are uninviting. • The Tucks house: The Tucks house is a small cabin along the lake with a row boat. • The Wood:the wood belongs to the Fosters. It has a very big tree in it with Angus Tucks initial on it and a magic spring by it.
Characters Winnie : Winnie is a foster and she is ten years old. She has never been out of her fence. Her family shelters her and has all her life. The Tucks : the tucks live in the wood and Mae and Angus also called tuck see their sons every 10 years. Their sons Jesse and Miles go to town to town finding jobs for 10 years then go see their parents. Miles is depressed because his wife took his kids away. Jesse still act's like a child still and is always happy. The Man in the yellow suit : The man in the yellow suit is very creepy and is looking for the tucks.
Character Study Winnie: she comes from a rich family and a very snotty family, Winnie’s parents don’t let her out of the fence by her house. Miles Tuck: miles lives forever just like the rest of his family and he is very strict unlike Winnie he is not adventurous and he does not have a lot of energy
Problems Winnie doesn’t know what to do because she knows about the spring and the tucks. She also doesn’t know what her dad will do to the tucks because if he shoots one of them they will not die and then the tucks will be discovered.
Plot Winnie saw Jesse drinking out of the spring and wanted a drink but he told her it was poisonous and she said I can have a drink I own these woods and I saw you drink out of it. 2. Jesse, Miles, and Mae took Winnie and told her about them and that she can’t tell anyone and she will have to spend the night with them. 3. Jesse gives Winnie some of spring water to drink when she was 17 and they would get married.
Resolution Mae hit The Man in the Yellow Suit over the head with a rifle and it killed him. The tucks moved away Winnie poured the water on the toad and she died because she didn’t drink it.
