2. Water • 70% of cells is made of water • Chemical reactions that keep organisms alive need to occur in water • A humancan survive 3 days without water
3. Air • Plants need carbon dioxide to make food in photosynthesis • Plants & animals need oxygen for cellular respiration to release energy from food
4. Place to live • All organisms need a place to live that has all the things they need to survive
