10. The Case for Perfection Matt 5:48: Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
2 Cor 7:1: Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
1 Thess 5:23: May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Jn 1:9: No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

A progressive work of God and man that makes us more and more free from sin and like Christ in our actual lives
