Inputs 1-3 (2) Control Settings • Selectable priority: • When using control inputs: priority level 1 or 2 can be selected • When not using control inputs: priority level 3 is provided • Channels of the same priority level, can be set either to Last-in-first-out (LIFO) or first-in-first-out (FIFO) • Assignment to Zones • - in priority level 1 or 2, the inputs can be assigned to certain zones • - in priority level 3, the inputs will be routed to the zones selected by the front panel’s zone switches • Mixing • In priority level 2, mixing can be selected • In priority level 3, mixing is provided • Pre-Announcement Chime • Priority level 1 and 2 provide automatic pre-chime • On input 3, the pre-chime can be switched off PCB
Telephone Input 1 Telephone Input • Push-in terminal block (balanced) with control input • Sensivity: -10 dBV • Connection to a PABX system with an audio output and control signal output • Priority level 1 or 2 • Pre-announcement chime • can be set ON or OFF Rear PCB
VM-2000 (master) RJ45 Remote Microphone RM-200M Connection of up to 4 remote microphones • parallel connection in „daisy chain“ • using RJ45 connectors and category 5 cables (4 pairs with shield) * external power supply necessary for more than 1 remote microphone(AD-4800 ER, part code 100-07-291-80)
External Speaker Input 1 External Speaker input • on push-in screw terminal • to switch the connected speakers to an external power amplifier • e.g. to connect the speakers to a central system • e.g. to connect the speakers to a stand-by amplifier in case of amplifier failure • the external signal will be switched directly to the speaker lines • the attenuators will be bypassed Rear
Line Level Outputs 3 Line Level Outputs • Recording Output • pre-master, for recording independent of master volume, level: 0 dBV • Line Output • pre-master, for connecting additional amplifiers without master volume control of VM , level: 0 dBV • Pre (amplifier) Output • post-master, for connecting additional amplifiers with master volume control on VM, or to connect the slave VM, level: 0 dBV Rear
Speaker Line Outputs 1 Direct and 5 Zone Outputs • Plug-in screw connector • for easy connection and maintenance • Output level: 100V • 70V and 50V by internal re-wiring • direct output without attenuator • zone outputs with attenuators • 6 steps: -20, -15, -10, -6, -3, 0 dB • Attenuator control output • to bypass external attenuators Rear
> 100 ms Control I/O Port: Inputs (1) Remote Control by external Equipment or Switches (manual control): • Activation will be made by closing or opening a contact • in some cases a control can be activated by a pulse • in other cases a control can be activated with a level signal break make Rear
OFF ON pre-chime post-chime Control I/O Port: Inputs (2) Remote Control by external Equipment or Switches (manual control): • Switching ON and OFF the VM • Start/Stop of Emergency mode • Activation of external speaker signal input • Start pre-recorded messages (if EV-200 installed) • Chime activation • Westminster chime activation • (external) Fault (to be indicated on the fault LED)
