Community Outreach: Wi'am is committed to meeting the needs of the community, to help the people resolve their problems and instill a sense joy. The work of Wi’am represents a grass roots approach to the urgent needs of the people .As we continue to train local persons in mediation skills, one unique aspects of our work is that approximately 20% of our expanses are covered by over 100 local volunteers who give not only their time, but also offer hospitability and the use of their phones and vehicles . Wi’am found that conflict resolution is the art of sharing our selves, our resources, our minds and hearts with others.
Wi'am conducts trainings through workshops on various issues related to conflict. Individuals (women, businessmen, teachers, students, government officials, security forces) from the community participate in the workshops.
