Our values include treating people with respect, involving staff in decision-making, and providing hope to communities, victims, and offenders.

  2. Vision Statement Gila County Probation VISION STATEMENT “We are an evolving organization committed to long-term prosocial behavior change in offenders, with the expectation of safer neighborhoods and positive outcomes that benefit families, victims and offenders.”

Gila County Probation VALUES STATEMENT Values Statement • We Believe In: • Treating people with dignity and respect. • Professionalism and ethical behavior at all levels of the organization. • Pushing decision making down and involving staff at all levels of the organization in the decision making process. • All offenders are capable of change and that staff are our greatest resource in fostering that behavior change. • All children are capable of success, no exceptions. • Relationships and building trusting alliances with our clients. • Using evidence-based practices in our decision making. • Cultural competence with a recognition and commitment to changing disproportionate minority populations in the justice system. • Providing hope to communities, victims and offenders by investing scarce resources into families, prevention and alternatives to incarceration.
