  1. 1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

  2. Do You Know You're Saved? Do you accept the apostle’s witness? …What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3

  4. Do You Know You're Saved? Do you accept the apostle’s witness? Do you fight against sin?

  5. Do You Fight Against Sin? vv. 5-6 - God won’t accept sin vv. 7-9 - Wants us to confess & be cleansed vv. 10-2:2 - Sin doesn’t have to be a final defeat

  12. Do You Know You're Saved? Do you accept the apostle’s witness? Do you fight against sin? Do you obey the commands? Do you love the brethren?

  13. The Command To Love... …is not “new” - recent, new in time …but “new” - in quality, fresh

  14. The Command To Love... …shows family relationship

  15. The Command To Love... …shows family relationship …& real relationship to Jesus

  16. Do You Know You're Saved? Do you accept the apostle’s witness? Do you fight against sin? Do you obey the commands? Do you love the brethren? Do you have the assurance of being “in” Christ?

  17. Are You "Abiding" in Christ Rom 6:3 Gal. 3:27 And practicing right-wise-ness?
