Group Project Instructions • Sign-in up for a time period • Ancient Time- 1599 • 1600 – 1799 • 1800 – 1850 • 1851 – 1900 • 1901 – 1950 • 1951 – present • You and your group will have 2 class periods to research the major scientific advancements which contributed to the evolution of the atomic theory.

  4. Timeline Product • Near the end of class on Day 2 of the project, your group will be placing the information you have collected on a large poster size timeline.

  5. Project Evaluation Each group will receive a score on the Development of the Atomic Theory rubric. Rubric assesses for content, creativity, effort/task commitment, and presentation

  6. Preparing for your Presentation • List your sources of information on a separate sheet of paper with your timeline period and group names (not what you checked, but just the ones that you obtained information. • During your presentation you must: • Summarize generally the 3 or 4 BIG advancements in your time period • Describe the advancement that your group thought most interesting • Describe your most useful resources (e.g., a website, particular book, other)
