NACEP Purpose The Alliance has been organized to link college – school partnerships offering college courses in high schools and to support and promote its constituent partnerships through quality initiatives, program development, national standards, research and communication.
Key activities include: • promoting national standards • researching and sharing information • sharing ideas and issues • providing professional development • fostering cooperation • fostering partnerships • serving as a national advocate

Curriculum • CEP courses = campus courses • CEP courses are transcripted • CEP courses reflect the pedagogical, theoretical and philosophical orientation of the college
Faculty: • CEP faculty meet academic requirements for faculty teaching at the college campus • Orientation • Professional development
Students: • Officially registered • Course requirements and prerequisites • Student guide • Transfer • Responsibilities
Assessment: • CEP standards of achievement = college standards • Annual review of CEP sections • CEP students assessed using same methods as on campus
