  2. Morning Session 10.30 am – Welcome and Introduction – 30 minutes • Citi Event Host – welcome and scene setting – 10 Minutes • Opening address from external guest speaker – 10 minutes • University Speaker (s) – TBD – 10 – 20 minutes (suggestion would be have one speaker from each university either open or close the event, or happy to have both speakers and extend time) 11.00 am – Dragons Den, Part One – 60 Minutes • We have seven student start-up ventures from both universities we would propose that we alternate the pitches from each university • Each pitch will be for 15 minutes • 4 Student venture pitchers in part one 12.00 pm – Break – 15 Minutes 12.15 pm – Dragons Den, Part Two – 45 Minutes • Each pitch will be for 15 minutes, • 3 Student venture pitches in part two NB: Given the logistics of gathering everyone together in Dublin we would propose that we start the session mid-morning.

  3. Afternoon Session 1.00 pm – Lunch Buffet and Networking Session – 90 Minutes (the tension builds!) • Lunch will be served as buffet and provide an opportunity to network • Teams will have the opportunity to demo their applications on laptops space will be provided, unfortunately we will not be able to provide internet connectivity via Citi’s network or students will need to provide own connectivity e.g. 3g dongle • Judges will also use the time to deliberate on deciding the start-ups 2.30 pm – Awards and Closing Comments – 60 Minutes • Judges to present awards and feedback – 30 Minutes • We are proposing to recognise the best start-ups one from each university as well as recognition awards to all participants’ – we will follow up on awards and prises separately • In additional depending on external involvement there may also be separate awards sponsored by participating external organisations • Closing comments from Universities – 15 minutes • Closing comments from Citi – 15 minutes 3.30 pm – Close

  4. Facilities Requirements Large Projector Screen • Student Demo Tables • Ideally looking for high bar type tables for teams to setup laptops • Need to provide extended WiFi guest access • Dragons Seating • Looking for comfortable armchair type seating Stage Area Speakers Stand Audience Seating Food and Refreshments • NB: • This could be broken out across multiple rooms if required e.g. Demo area • We would also look to have in place event posters and signage • Provide a break room for judge to deliberate over the lunchtime period
