My game has been rated PEGI 12 as my game involves human characters although it has no violence or bad language. My game is aimed for older children such as 12 year olds since my game is rated PEGI 12.
The genre of my game is an action-puzzle game that requires the player to think about the levels so solve them. For example, Portal (Valve) is a popular puzzle game where the player enters various rooms and solves puzzles with portals to advance to the next.
The style of my game will involve several maze levels in a bird’s eye view of the maze. The player will navigate through the maze to find the objectives and/or the exit to the maze.
The levels and scenes will take place in the futuristic city of Findria. During the age of technology, much has changed and inter-stellar expansion has become a common occurrence so the space city of Findria orbits a far away star at the forefront of human expansion. The city is bright and colourful and features technology beyond imagination.
The character the player will control in the game will look like super-advanced elite soldier with heroic proportions searching for these chips with great technology to help. The evil characters will be more brains than brawn so they will be a lot smaller than the hero and be more pale. All characters will have a cartoon style.
Other items will include the green glowing Nephilim chips and other energy sources such as new elements represented by the microchip and the crystal.
The game will require the player to think about the level as each one is different and the time allowed to complete the level can vary.
The game will feature mainly greens and dark and bright colours. The green will mainly be for the Nephilim chips but other colours can be used for lights and the buildings.
The font used will be like a sci fi film that still remains clear. This will suit the futuristic style of the game.
I will not use speech but instead I will use speech bubbles to show the text. The game will not feature much music but it will use ambient music during levels and perhaps short fanfares at points in the game such as after completeing a level.
