  4. What are our goals? • To teach life lessons so that by the time our players graduate they are better off as young men for having been a part of our program. • Teamwork, Discipline, Hard Work • To Compete • To Win CANUCK FOOTBALL

  5. Academics • Daily study hall program 7 AM • Required 2 days per week in season • All players monitored on a regular basis • Offer tutoring / Provide assistance • Code of Conduct • Education is a right • Football is a privilege CANUCK FOOTBALL

Canucks playing in college (24 in 9 years) • Devaughn Gordon – Lehigh University • Antonio Powell-Fields – Nassau Community College • Julian Frazier – William Paterson University • Tyson Chandler – North Carolina State University • Duane Daniels – Wilkes University • Colin Disch – 3 Time All-American LB • University of Albany • Currently coaching at Stonehill College CANUCK FOOTBALL

  8. Scholarships? • 55 players from NJ received a Div. I scholarship • 346 High schools play football in NJ • 254,000 Seniors play football each year nationally • 2486 Scholarships Div. I • 1750 Scholarships Div. I AA • Majority of these schools DO NOT use the number allowed by NCAA • 1 in 50 get a scholarship • Many more opportunities at Div. II and Div. III schools CANUCK FOOTBALL
