The issue and the stance • Child molestation is an epidemic in the United States of America. • The stance on child molestation is that all practices should be abolished and all convicted members should be sentenced to life with prison.
The significance of child molestation • Child molestation is an enormous issue in the United States of America, because children are being abused every day. • In 2011, 1,570 children died because of child abuse and neglect.
The audience • The explicit audience of the child molestation issue are the children themselves and adults who love children. • The implicit audience is Congress, the President, and organizations like the National Children’s Alliance
Why is this issue part of modern-day slavery? • Child molestation is a part of modern-day slavery because children are continued to be raped and abused every single day in the United States.
Opposing Claim • Some people may say that child molestation is only just punishment for children who don’t behave well. • Others believe that child molestation is an everyday thing.
Solution • One good solution is to create PSA’s in order to bring awareness to child molestation. • Another solution is to protest to Congress to take action immediately and create a bill to sentence people to life in prison if convicted of child molestation charges.
