Entry Fee Lineage 29.50 Prize Fund 17.50 Masters Fund 2.00 Expenses 6.00TOTAL 55.00 • TOURNAMENT RULES • This Tournament will be sanctioned by the BTBA and conforms to the general playing and tournament rules of the BTBA together with the following additions. • The Tournament is open to all current members of the BTBA and the Young Adults Club. Non-members of the BTBA or anyone unable to produce a current BTBA membership card may compete on payment of £2 fine. Membership may be taken out on the day. Non-members will not be eligible for BTBA services. Anyone unable to produce a current YAC card may compete on payment of a £1 fine. Non-members of the YAC may either join at a cost of £20 or pay day membership of £10. Participants who are not full members of the YAC or BTBA will not be eligible for ranking points. • Once an entry had been paid and accepted no refunds can be made. An entry may be sold however to an eligible replacement on the authority of the Tournament Manager (Dave Godfrey). • A provisional ball will be rolled if a dispute relating to pinfall cannot be resolved immediately. • All protests must be made verbally to the Tournament Manager within 30 minutes of the infringement taking place and confirmed in writing to the same within 72 hours of the game in which the infraction occurred. The decision of the Tournament Manager, on all matters, shall be final subject to appeal to the BTBA. • No competitor is allowed to consume ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES until they have completed play on the day. NO SMOKING in the centre. • All players will wear suitable bowling attire. The wearing of denim will not be permitted. • Any player whose conduct is considered liable to bring the game into disrepute will be disqualified from the tournament. Any individual so disqualified will be reported to the BTBA for consideration of disciplinary proceedings. • The use of abrasives on bowling balls is prohibited. • In the events of a tie for any position in the qualifying rounds the player with the HIGHEST LOW game will take the place. In the event of a tie in the Final an additional 9th and 10th frame will be rolled. The winner will be the bowler with the highest pinfall in those two frames. • All averages submitted must be the highest from tournament or league over 18 games. If the average is over less than 18 games then the number of games must be declared. If there is no average available then it will be determined by the first 6 games in this tournament. • The Tournament Manager reserves the right to re-rate any entry. In addition to the above entry fee each player will be required to pay £2 Team England Fund at Registration OPTIONAL SCRATCH POT SHOT This will be available in both ladies and men’s divisions £5 entry – Winner with highest scratch score over the first 6 games Registration 9.30am - Roll Off 10.00am FORMAT Round 1 -All Bowlers will bowl a 6 Game qualifying round, all games throughout the tournament will include handicap. These 6 games will count towards the YAC rankings. Handicaps will be based on 75% of the difference of 210 and the entering average. Round 2 – Scores will carry forward from Round 1.
