Assistive Technology • Assistive Technology can be software or hardware that assists those with learning or physical disabilities. • A good example of this is software that will translate pdf. files into the spoken word. This assists those with reading disabilities such as dyslexia. • Another example is a camera and monitor that enlarge the text so that those who are legally blind might read text as it has been enlarged so they can read without further assistance.

  3. Cyberbullying • Have an “open door policy” so those who are being bullied can express themselves and get assistance if needed. • Make it clear that bullying of any type will not be tolerated. Common respect is the rule. • Have a lesson plan that integrates Cyberbullying and it’s effects to try and prevent these practices in the student body.
