  3. Rainfall Patterns: Last 7 Days Heavy rainfall due to Hurricane Ingrid in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico and TS Manuel in the eastern Pacific has imposed hardships on most of Mexico during the past week.

  4. Rainfall Patterns: Last 30 Days Rainfall accumulations over the past 30 days are above-average for southwestern U.S. and most of Mexico.

  6. NCEP/GFS Forecast Above-average rainfall over central Mexico during next week and near-average rainfall for southwestern U.S. for the next two weeks.

Summary • Heavy rainfall due to Hurricane Ingrid in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico and TS Manuel in the eastern Pacific has imposed hardships on most of Mexico during the past week. • Rainfall accumulations over the past 30 days are above-average for southwestern U.S. and most of Mexico. • NCEP/GFS Forecasts call for above-average rainfall over central Mexico during next week and near-average rainfall for southwestern U.S. for the next two weeks.
