  1. VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES:GOOD PRACTICE EXAMPLES Prof. BazbanelaAurelia

  2. Within the Partnership Project with the Abandoned Children Centre “Cocorii 2”, a group of 25 students in the 10th grade at “Ion Creanga” Theoretical Highschool accompanied by their form teacher Bazbanela Aurelia, brought a sunshine in the souls of the little children and also the smile on their faces. • On December 17th , for Christmas, the students in the 10th grade offered the abandoned kids sweets and fruit. They also sang together some Christmas carols and they played together, telling them how obedient they were and how excited they were waiting for Santa. The teacher offered them a camera with which the kids can keep the most important moments in their lives: their birthdays, the religious holidays and other parties. The children were extremely delighted, especially because this was one of the presents they were praying for to receive from Santa this year. They also received clothes and shoes, for which they thanked them all.

  3. On March 1st, The Trinket Day, the same group of students accompanied by their form teacher repeated the visit to the Abandoned Children Centre “Cocorii 2”, this time giving the kids trinkets made by themselves and sweets. One of the students made some bracelets combining the two representative colors for this celebration and offered them to all the kids. It is a tradition that says that those who wear such bracelets during the month of March will be protected from diseases and bad things.

  4. Both visits to the Abandoned Children Centre were a real reason of happiness both for the abandoned kids and for the students at “Ion Creanga” Theoretical Highschool; the excitement of being together could be read on their faces. The joy was even higher when the 12 children at the Centre asked them to come back as soon and often as they could.
