After School Support632 and 625 grants • Open to all - Summer MCAS preparation sessions, 3 weeks (5:1) • Sophomores - MCAS ELA Writing Workshop sessions, two days each week for 4 weeks before test (5:1) • Sophomores –MCAS mathematics preparation sessions, two days each week for 3 weeks before test (5:1) • Sophomores - MCAS Biology Workshop sessions, six sessions for 2 weeks before test (5:1)
During School Support • Sophomores Pull-out from study skills math 632 • Juniors and seniors Pull-out from study skills or homeroom (1:1, 2:1) area of need • MCAS biology class junior year (3:1) • MCAS mathematics class senior year (3:1)
Appeal Processsophomore and junior year (senior if needed) • failed test 3 times (biology 1 time) • 95% attendance (max 9 days per year) • Mean score cohort group(C+/B ave in content area) • After school or summer MCAS help sessions • Teacher recommendation
