County Health Rankings and Roadmaps(www.countyhealthrankings.org)
County Health Rankings and Roadmaps(www.countyhealthrankings.org) • What Is the County Health Rankings Measurement Strategy? The County Health Rankings report two measures of family and social support: • Inadequate social support is defined as the percentage of adults without social/emotional support. This county-level measure is calculated by the CDC using BRFSS data. • Children in single-parent households is defined as the percent of children living in family households who are raised by a single parent. These data come from the American Community Survey.
