  2. Preparations • Confirmation for: • ★ All the sponsors for clothes • Casual wear, gowns, blazers, flowers & accessories • ★ Judges for the finals • ★ Performance segments • – Stage Arts & Rock Band • ★ Stage decorations • ★ Programme coordination for the finals

  3. The day has come… 25th Feb 2005 At 10am… ★ 2nd Full Dress Rehearsal At 12pm… ★ Break for lunch At 1.30pm.. ★ Ironing of clothing At 3pm… ★ Collected votes for Mr. & Miss Photogenic ★ Tabulation of votes ★ Make-up for contestants

  4. The show is about to begin… At 5.30pm… ★ Closing of tickets booth ★ Admission of students, goodie bags given out At 6pm… ★ Arrival of DSBM and Guests ★ Video presentation ★ Opening dance by the finalists ★ Ethnic, Office wear and elegant wear by finalists ★ Q & A segments

  5. Prizes! At 7.05pm… ★ Performance by Rock Band & Stage Arts ★ Tabulation of marks At 7.35pm… ★ Reveal of the results ★ Presentation of prizes ★ Victory walk by Mr & Miss SBM pageant 05 End of show….

  6. After Action taken ★ Clearing of decors, equipments ★ Collection of sponsors clothes ★ Picture Taking ★ Interview with Mr. & Miss SBM Pageant

Problems Faced ★ Tight budget ★ Sales of tickets not up to expectations ★ Security not tight enough during the finals ★ Lack of self- discipline & basic mutual respect for contestants Lessons Learnt ★ Planning & Coordination • Training Sessions • (Catwalk, Dancing, Filming, Fitting of clothes) • Full Dress Rehearsals • (Making sure there are present, everyone in right position at any given time) ★PR Skills are important It was a success !!
