C KIDSAWARE from roots to shoots The students would explore their own heritage and roots through traditional art forms such as dance, film, music, and painting. The model that emerges will hopefully allow the youth to develop self confidence, curiosity and tolerance through intercultural “trans-local” and “cross national” interaction. The premise of the project is to connect youth from across the world, in their early teens, who are on the fringes of society via video conferencing.
