  2. Interview Room Setup • Launch BOClient • Setup > Interview Room Setup Note: If it’s gray out you do not have right to setup the Interviewroom

  3. Interview Room Setup (continued….) IP for Interview Unit: COBAN IBOX Interview IP address Interview Room No: Enter the virtual room number from 1-4 (Note: each IBOX Interview Room can control up to 4 rooms or 4 cameras) Streaming Box Channel: There are 4 Video Channels per IBOX Interview Room unit IP for Control PC: IP address of the workstation that can initiate and stop recording Restricted (Control PC Only): Provide the ability for administrator to restrict specific Interview room to a group of PC base on IP address.

  4. Interview Room Notes Setup • Launch BOClient • Setup > Interview Notes Setup • Adding New Key Description • Select the Key Name by clicking on the specific line • Type in the Key Description • Click Save

  5. Files Association for IboxInterviewroom • *.avi (video) • *.rec (recording) • *.stp (stop) • -A.xml (meta data) • *.don (successfully upload to server) • _1.avi (Channel # it’s recording on) • Videos recorded on the Ibox are stored: D:\Interviewroom

  6. Service running on the Ibox • Coban Streaming service runs the following files in Task manager\Processes • 1. EdgeStrSvr2 (Streaming and recording) • 2. EdgeStrSvrImport2 (Upload videos to server) • 3. EdgeStrSvr2 ( launch EdgeStrSvr2, EdgeStrSvrImport2

  7. There are 2 ways of recording • The push button on the wall • Manual recording from the Control PC

  8. Difference between push button and recording from a Control PC • Push Button 1. Before the videos are able to view in BoClient you must take ownership of the videos 2. Videos are tag as _@YYYYMMDDHHMMSS_1.avi Note: untag videos are located in \\servername\videos\ftpvideos\vehicles

  9. Difference between push button and recording from a Control PC(…Cont’d) • Control PC • 1. Doesn’t require to take ownership of the videos before it’s viewable in BoClient • 2. Videos are tag as OfficerID@YYYYMMDDHHMMSS_1.avi • Note: video tag with officer id is located in \\servername\videos\ftpvideos\hdd

  10. CobanLogonFix • Utility uses to Take Video Ownership of the push button recording • Location of CobanLogonFix: \\ServerName\Videos\NewProg • Create a shortcut on the desktop

  11. CobanLogonFix(…Cont’d) • Launch CobanLogonFix from a shortcut on Desktop 2. Login in using your BOClient username and password Note: untagged videos are located in the following folder on the server \\DVMSServerNameorIP\videos\ftpvideos\vehicles

  12. CobanLogonFix(…Cont’d) • Latest BoClient 3.3.4 Take Video Ownership can be accessed through Add-On

  14. Software require for launching IR on Control PC 1. Install the Interviewroom software on the PC 2. Go to Start\Run type in the following \\servername\coban\clientsetup\dvms\xpclient

  15. Software require for launching IR on Control PC 3. Copy InterviewroomClientSetup.exe to DVMS folder on the workstation 4. Run InterviewRoomClientSetup and accept default path

  16. Launching IR from Controlling PC • Launch BoClient go to Add-On\Interviewroom

  17. Launching IR from Controlling PC(…Continue) Note: videos are located in the following folder on the server \\DVMSServerNameorIP\videos\ftpvideos\hdd

Common Issues • Start Record button is gray out on Control PC • - Make sure the Coban Streaming services is running (EdgeStrSvr2, EdgeStrSvrImport2, EdgeStrSvrService2) in Task Manager\Processes on the Ibox • Make sure the Coban Streaming service is running with a service account or domain account with local admin credential • Log files can be viewed on the Ibox: D:\Interviewroom\Logs

Common Issues • Push button on the wall is not responding • - Make sure the Coban Streaming services is running (EdgeStrSvr2, EdgeStrSvrImport2, EdgeStrSvrService2) in Task Manager\Processes on the Ibox • Manually shutting down the unit ushing the window start button on the Ibox. Wait for 120 seconds turn the unit back on

  20. Common Issues • Videos not viewable in BoClient • - Check Task Manager\Process make sure the 3 process are running (EdgeStrSvr2, EdgeStrSvrImport2, EdgeStrSvrService2) • If one of these file are not running to ahead stop the Coban Streaming, wait for 60 second then start the Coban Streaming. • No one has taken ownership of the videos that is recording from the Push Button

  21. Common Issues • Videos are there in BoClient but getting message “video location is empty” • - Wait for 5 minutes before search for the videos • Check Task Manager\Process make sure the 3 process are running (EdgeStrSvr2, EdgeStrSvrImport2, EdgeStrSvrService2) • No one has taken ownership of the videos that is recording from the Push Buton
