  3. EYE CONTACT • Keep your eyes open • Eliminate distractions • Drifting is unacceptable

  4. THE APPROACH • Confidence and Attitude is key • Smile • Follow the formula: “Hello Sir/Madam, My name is Name, I am the JOB TITLE J’adore La Fondue; would you like to see what have offer today?”

  5. SHOW KNOWLEDGE • Know the chocolate • Know the dipping items • Know the fountain used • Make suggestions to customer.

  6. OBTAIN INTEREST • Start with the benefits we offer • Ask the customer what they like • Find common ground • Try not to force your opinion • Give them room to think

  7. TAKE THE ORDER • Go into detail but try not to overwhelm the customer resulting into confusion. • Once the customer say’s “yes” to a package, STOP SELLING.

  8. CLOSE/THANK THE CUSTOMER • Restate what they plan on purchasing. • Go to order form and explain in detail, while the customer is filling it out. • Thank the customer for his/her business. • Leave on a good point.

  9. IMPORTANT TIPS • Listen more than talk. • Never interrupt or talk over a client. • Attitude is everything. • The customer doesn’t care how much you know, but how much your willing to care.
