Relating my Song Chenoa Cowboy 4/10/13 Class D
Poem: • Happy. • Negative. • About beauty.
Poem: The Secret • “ This, in the lower Berkshires, Was most like witchery, At evening, In the Springtime, The bark of a white birch tree Turned flesh, for my sake only, So soft to touch, so rose to see.” • Positive/negative, “ Was most like witchery” and, “The bark of the white birch tree Turned flesh”.
Song Connection: • The song has the same connection exact as the poem. • The song does have the same poem technique, negative/positive.
Song: End Up Here • “ You got your game tight real tight smart I can tell, please don’t play the usual game the type to put out your flame. I don’t wanna shed a tear, I don’t want end up here.” • See? Positive then negative.
My Interpretation: • Happy then, sad. • Devastating. • Being in different worlds or seeing both worlds differently.
