Snyder Park Project • 50 Youth Initially assigned to Project Many 18 & Older were moved to other projects • 33 youth remain on Project Mostly 16 & 17 Year Olds • 30 Hrs Per Wk(5 days per week @ 6 hrs per day) • 10 Weeks for 16 & 17 Yr Olds • 20 Weeks 18 Yrs & Older
Snyder Park Project Activities Summary • Repair of Maintenance/ Utility Building • Clearing & Cleaning out of Building • Painting of Interior & Exterior • 60 Broken Windows Repaired (and covered for protection) • Clearing and restoration of 4,000 lineal yards throughout Snyder Park • Reversal of 20-25 years of overgrowth in Focus Areas • Repair & Restoration of Pagoda Building (near future)
Future of Park Project • Pagoda Repair & Restoration • Steel Structure/Grid Reinforcement to Stabilize floor (Project Supervisor’s at direction of Structural Engineer) • Preparation for Concrete resurfacing of Structure • Re-painting of Structure • Maintenance of Progress • Development of WEP Sites with National Trails
