What is The Bible? • God the Holy Spirit breathed into (INSPIRED) the writers to write the exact words He wanted. • The Bible is therefore word-for-word God’s Word. • Everything in The Bible is true since it’s God’s Word. • We shouldn’t add or subtract anything from the Bible.
Why did God give us The Bible? • To teach us the way of salvation (deliverance) by trusting in Jesus. • To guide us in God-pleasing living after we have come to trust in Jesus as our Saviour.
