All applications should assume the LAN / VPN networked PC operational mode. • 3. Any application, be it contemporary or futuristic (including those which architecture is not yet known), should be seamlessly operateable. • 4. The system should seamlessly provide download services for necessary application viewers. • 5. The system should be readily suited for any learning/teaching mode or class configuration. • 6. The system should be able to adapt to any pedagogical/organizational concept change, while continuously providing full service.
Tel Hai 28/02/2002 InterSyl 3.0 - Operation Report InterSyl 3.0 - Operation Report InterSyl versions 2.x and 3.0 have been used by Tel Hai Academic College for the last 4 years. * * * The system was conceived, constructed and is maintained by the Tel Hai Computation Center. Courses are opened by lecturer’s initiative; primarily, in response to student demand. All teaching materials were mounted by the lecturers themselves, preferably from their home PC workstations. Usage Distribution Tel Hai Distance Learning Program uses a Double Track broad-band Internet system, which is comprised of a NetOp server-client package that operates the InterSyl 3.0 virtual environment simultaneously with the PC based synchronic class videoconference VTEL/VCON systems.
