Reassignment of CTSA Program • CTSA Program moved into NCATS • Program is unchanged • RFA (request for applications) is being written for new applications and competitive renewals • Review is planned for February 15th and will be managed by NIDDK with some NCRR Council members invited to participate
Reassignment of Staff • All NCRR/DCRR staff moved into NCATS • NCRR’s Division of Clinical Research Resources (DCRR) • Includes program officers, team leaders, deputy director and director. • Anthony Hayward is Special Assistant to Tom Insel • All NCRR/GMO staff moved into NCATS • NCRR’s Grants Management Office moved • Some have same assignments, some new ones • Program officers can help you find out who the GMO staff are
Leadership of NCATS • Tom Insel, (NIMH Director), Acting Director • Kathy Hudson, (NIH Deputy Director), Acting Deputy Director • Steve Groft, Director, Office of Rare Diseases • Josie Briggs, (NCAM Director), Acting Director Division of Clinical Investigation • Chris Austin, Director, Division of Pre-Clinical Investigation
