Overview • SATO produces Windows drivers for all of the printer range which also incorporate printer installation routines. • These are available on the LG CD-ROM or the Technicians CD-ROM and also from the SATO websites. • It is always advisable to use the most recent drivers available and these can be best downloaded from the SATO website www.satoworldwide.com. This is especially important when Windows XP is used. • Most installations are straightforward and therefore only USB

  3. Find the USbPrep.exe located on the Label Gallery Cd. • Double click on it.

  4. Select Win200 or newer • Press Cleanup • Select Prepare

  5. Switch on the printer • Plug it to computer • XP will detects new device but not install it. • Go to the system properties and in Device Manager find the USB Printing Support (yellow ? on it) • Right click on it and select update drivers

  6. Select install from a list • Click Next • Select: Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install • Click Next

  7. Select Have Disk • Browse to the location where the drivers are located (e.g. : Label Gallery CD version 1.6.2 where D is the CD-ROM drive letter) • Click ok

  8. Select the USB Device Driver (CL412e in this example) • Click Next • XP will pop up a warning window; Click Continue Anyway.

  9. XP will prompts you with another window. • Click Ok • Browse to the location : Usb2000 look for the file: CTWDMUSB.SYS • Click Open • Click Ok

  10. Click Finish
