3. About us The Academy is set in a class of its own, being the first in the industry that is owned and operated by freelance hair and make-up artists. We are an association of some of the best international artists. This enables us to demonstrate the latest styles and techniques from high fashion catwalk shows and advertising campaigns from all over the world. The Academy lists artists that work with major celebrities and the biggest names in fashion and media. There is no better place to learn than from our artists, who are at the top of the profession now.

4. About us We strive to go that extra mile, giving our students not only the skills needed in this exciting trade, but the benefit of inside knowledge from our artists. Students leave us well prepared with the skills and a thorough understanding of the industry, enabling them to reach the top. Our fresh, up-to-date and honest approach to teaching is centred round a relaxed atmosphere in our central London studio.

5. About us We keep our classes small with no more then 10 students to a teacher as well as up to 2 other well-trained make-up artists or assistants in every class. This gives our students the best possible learning experience, benefiting from our one-on-one attention.  The Academy of Freelance Make Up is one of the only hair and make-up training institutes in the world teaching in a working photographic studio and not in a classroom or make-up studio. This gives our students the all-round, on the job experience of the day-to-day life as a professional make-up artist before they leave us.
