  5. Letter to my Friend Po box 999, Doha, Qatar. 8. 1. 2009 Dear Mona, How are you? I want to tell you about my visit to London. I traveled to London with my family inmy summer holidays. First, let me tell you about my flight. It was a long but comfortable flight. We reached Heathrow airport of London at 10.30 in the morning. We stayed in Park Hotel near Thames River. The first day was wonderful. We went to many interesting places. For example, Big Ben, London eye, Hyde Park, Museum …. The next day we went for cruise in a big boat. Then we went for shopping and I bought many dresses. My family liked the cold weather. We stayed there for five days. So as you can see, I really enjoyed my visit to London and I think I would like to get there again. How was your summer camp? Write to me about it. Waiting for your letter Best wishes, ………………

  11. 5. Explanation • Write in detail about your news • Share what , when , where, how…… • Explain what you want to write.

  12. 6. Close • Write the closing lines • Ask the other person to write back • You can use such lines like: • Reply soon • Waiting for your letter • That’s all about me for now • ………..

  13. 7. Signing off Write the signature ending by writing like: • Take care, or • Bye for now, or • Best wishes, etc.
