  1. Mrs. Sinatra’s Kindergarten Newsletter jsinatra@dsdmail.net 801 402-2450 A Note from the Teacher I am so lucky to have your child in my class! I see the sparkle of learning in their eyes! I appreciate those who attend on a regular basis. Keep it up. Some of our class friends received “Brag Tags” for the month of August, PERFECT ATTENDANCE! Good Job…Let’s get one for September and October. We are reviewing the alphabet and beginning letter and number of the ‘day’. The homework will reflect these concepts. Please practice the letters of your child’s name first, when they accomplish that, then the alphabet names and then the sounds. Homework reminder Please remember to turn homework in on Fridays but, not earlier than Wednesdays. Please make sure your child’s name is on the first page. Please review the completed work to make sure it’s ‘right’. Dates to remember September 1, no school (Labor Day) September 3, picture day October 15, make up picture day October 16 & 17 NO SCHOOL (UEA)! October 30, class Halloween party October 31, NO SCHOOL!
