  2. APS T/C Overview (cont.) Recent Conference Performance Accomplishments IECEC 2012 • No new members (lost a few). Looking to increase members in Academia and International standing • Leadership role turned over this year, Dick Shaw as Chair, Michael Butler as Vice Chair, and elected new Secretary (Margot Wasz). • Published the year in review article SPW 2011 Attendance was 300, down from the previous year. Total Abstracts (7/7/12): 129 APS (and Related): 22 Issues / Help Needed • Getting more papers for IECEC • Starting a Li-Ion Battery Standard Initiatives & Plans Financial Status and Other Activities • Updating AIAA S-111 and S-112 • SMC has requested a Li-Ion Standard • AIAA S-122 2007 is due for review soon • $1300 • Allocated funds to sponsor an IECEC booth ($1200)
