  4. We can measure how long or tall or far things are. • How far is it to the beach? • How tall am I? • How long is the fish?

  5. We can measure how heavy things are. We use different scales to weigh different things.

  6. We can measure volume. • We can measure medicine with a spoon. • We can measure milk with a glass. • We can measure the water in the bath with a bucket.
