  2. OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS • To review and update priority countries’ communication indicators • To encourage countries to ensure a proper use of quality indicators in order to better measure progress • UNICEF and WHO to report on main achievements at the next TFI in 2008

  6. Session 2 -Polio situation and review of recommendations • Progress in Polio Eradication Initiative and Routine strengthening update in Africa • TFI 2006-2007 recommendations and implementation strategy in WCARO • Discussion

Session 3 - Lessons learned and technical guidelines • Communication Data collection and use (Polio and Routine Immunisation), lesson learnt from BASICS Immunisation • Polio Communication Indicators: Reflections from Communication ReviewTAGs • Discussion • Measuring communication’ contribution in Polio/EPI: lessons learnt from Afghanistan, India and Pakistan • Key criteria/principles to determine/select communication indicators • Discussion
