Sample Lessons Ideas for integrating Manga in Your Classroom Art Lessons
Lesson 1: Drawing the Manga Head • Overview: Teach students how to correctly construct a manga-style head • Tie this into teaching a lesson of how manga proportions are related to real proportions
Overview: Students will learn about inking, a common technique used in comics, and particularly in manga Inking is a method of finalizing artwork Encourage students to experiment with different tools and line styles.
