  2. Role of Technology Information Center • Pool of Information to facilitate technology development • Different in-depth for different needs • Matching-point of demand and supply • Up-to-date information • Efficient and convenient • Serve particular purposes of the group

  3. Types of Technology • Environmental-Sound Technology supporting long-term sustainable development • Basic knowledge, advanced know-how • Machines, equipment, tools • Research and development • Demonstration and application

Thailand’s Perspectives on Art. 4.5 • Transfer of Environmental-sound Technology and know-how • Enabling Environment from ANII to promote such transfer and implementation of endogenous know-how • Emphasis on development of Know-how, joint research and capacity building • Preferential and enable environment

TT Clear: A Support Mechanism • Pool of Information specifically for EST related to UNFCCC • Existing information: • implemented, ongoing, proposed • Mostly traditional i.e. under ODA, marketing process • Mainly from demand sources • More information • Sources of supply • With specific response to UNFCCC and Art. 4.5 • Availability of support (training, joint-research)
