Policies and Procedures (Creation) • Faculty/staff • HR Coming/going report • Queries to create accounts based on a Commmgmt code entered by HR • Students • Queries to create accounts based on application status, etc. • Colon prompt PA • APIN (assign pins) • DMIU (create registry account) • BURA (portal roles)
Policies and Procedures (Removal) • Faculty/staff • HR Coming/going report • Helpdesk task logged and routed • Account disabled and moved to “To be deleted” ou or moved to student ou (if still attending) • Every February, delete all disabled fac/staff accounts (AD & Colleague) • Students • Every December, disable and move old accounts (not attended in >1 year), and delete accounts disabled previous December
Policies and Procedures (Modification) • Faculty/staff position change • HR Coming/going report • Helpdesk task logged and routed • Name change, 12 step process to update username w/o loss of email and other services • Students • Position change (work study, etc): HR coming/going report • Name changes: MyNic, AD account, and student email account all deleted and recreated. Done weekly on Tuesdays
