GAME OVERVIEW. GAME CONCEPT: The game concept is to avoid other objects while moving upward throughout a level to eventually to to the Kebab shop at the end of each level. TARGET AUDIENCE: The target audience would be 18 – 25 year olds because they could relate to the situation.

GAME OVERVIEW GAME CONCEPT: The game concept is to avoid other objects while moving upward throughout a level to eventually to to the Kebab shop at the end of each level. TARGET AUDIENCE: The target audience would be 18 – 25 year olds because they could relate to the situation. LOOK AND FEEL: The game is loosely based on old arcade space shooter games where you avoid/ shoot objects and constantly move forward. GAME FLOW SUMMARY: The game will have 15 levels. It will begin by being almost impossible to fail and gradually become more difficult but not so much that the user loses interests, the traffic will increase as will other non player characters.
BASIC LAYOUT This is a basic layout of the game, the 3 lanes in the middle will have cars driving down them from top to bottom of the screen, the footpaths and grass on either side of the roads will have the other characters that are attempting to get to the kebab store, they will be moving from the bottom to the top of the screen. The character will be able to move into any of these lanes provided there aren’t obstacles blocking the character from doing so.
GAMEPLAY AND MECHANICS GAME OBJECTIVE: The objective of the game is to get to the kebab shop at the end of the level by avoiding police, traffic and beating other people to the kebab shop before it runs out of meat. GAME RULES: The player can be hit by a car twice and survive, on the third time you are hit by a car you die. The player will notice other people trying to pass him and get to the kebab shop, they are identifiable by a thought bubble with a kebab, if ten of these characters make it to the kebab store first they will run out of meat and it will be game over, to avoid this you must push them over, once pushing them over you will super speed, the traffic also appears to slow down during this 10 seconds post pushing them over. If there are police cars driving on the road the character must immediately move to the foothpath or grass, if the player is spotted by the police walking on the road he will be arrested by the Police for drunk and disorderly. The screen is constantly moving forward, if the character falls behind it’s game over.
GAMEPLAY AND MECHANICS IN GAME ECONOMIC SYSTEM: The game has no currency as the point is only to get to the kebab store. COMBAT SYSTEM: The game basically has no combat, the navigational buttons are used to move around and the center button is used to push the other Kebab hunters over.
INTERFACE DESIGN The interface design and controls are quite simple. The amount of cars you have been struck by is shown on the top left and the amount of customers that have beaten you to the kebab shop is shown on the right. The controls are shown below, there is a transparent d-pad on the left and a red button on the right which is used for pushing other potential customers.
